well i drew this about month ago... i got paid about 125$
estimated time was 10-11 hours and tools were pencils 5h, hb, 2b and some spots 4b mainly 2b and hb ....aaaand small smudge stick... this drawing shows maybe the best my pencil skills compared to others this is smoooooth and much much more realistic... cos i spend more time on it... and it's more smoother in real life... texture of the paper comes to much of when i scan it ;< it was so sweet when i finished this... i almost didn't want to hand it over to customer... |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. the eye should be brighter because it white and wet, make it bright enough so people can see the pupil, and maybe also a white light reflection like in the other eye.
Other then that, its perfect.
I understand that the dark eye was probably drawn that way because that is how it appeared in the reference photo, but I do agree with HiViH that maybe a small dot of reflection would make it look a little better.
With that said, you draw so much better than I could ever do, so I feel like a schmuck to even mention anything.
It is a beautiful piece and I am sure the parents were thrilled.

Anyway, the piece looks really great, the texturing is fantastic and it really contributes to achieve the realism on this piece .
